Based in Little Paxton, just north of St Neots, we are a small firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers.
The business owner, Colette Farrand-Laine BSc FCA, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales with experience since 1995 both in accountancy practice and out in the 'real world' of business.
She qualified with Deloitte & Touche in London in 1998 and spent over seven years working in their Owner Managed Business sector, before spending six years as a Finance Manager of a medium sized local business.
Colette started Farrand-Laine Limited in December 2006.
She has worked with a wide variety of clients in various businesses, with turnover ranging from a few thousand pounds up to several million pounds.
How we help our clients
We aim to provide all the accountancy services that small businesses and individuals require with a focus on an approachable and reliable service at a fair price.
With all clients, we aim to provide excellent service and advice throughout the year, not just at year-end. We want to work with you to understand exactly where your business is going and how you can improve its performance. Whilst you are undoubtedly the expert behind your business, it is often useful to discuss progress and ideas with us to provide a view from a different perspective. However, if you'd rather only see us once a year, then that is fine by us too. Our work is governed by your needs.
Most of our work is done on a fixed fee basis - we will not charge you each time you pick up the phone!
We pride ourselves on being approachable and reliable. We try to be always available for clients and understand that it may, at times, be more convenient for you to meet with us outside traditional office hours. We too have experience in running busy lives combining business and family!
